The CS180 is a 1.4 kW gasoline chainsaw with all the premium features and ease of use you expect from SENWART. It has a bar length of 14 inch / 35cm.

High-quality, efficient performance

The engine utilizes SENWART technology for high torque over a wide speed range. It saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces exhaust emissions by up to 50% compared to conventional SENWART 2-stroke engines. With advanced combustion technology, fuel consumption is further reduced and torque benefits increased.

Robust design

The compensator in the carburetor means that your power does not drop immediately when the air filter becomes clogged. In this case, the controller prevents the fuel-air mixture from becoming thicker and delivers the correct amount of fuel to keep the fuel/air ratio constant, and therefore engine power constant. You don't need to clean the air filter until there is a noticeable drop in power. The CS180 also uses the Ematic chain lubrication system, which not only provides maximum lubrication when using Senwart saw chains but also prolongs wear and reduces fuel consumption (up to 50% less fuel consumption for bars).

Easy to operate

The start, damper, throttle and stop controls are operated with a single lever for outstanding ease of use and comfortable control. It is also equipped with STIHL's Anti-Vibration System, which dampens vibrations from the machine's engine, thereby significantly reducing vibrations in the handle and helping to prevent the long-term effects of vibration on the blood vessels of the hands and arms. The unit's tensioning screw is located on the side of the chain saw, so you don't have to come into contact with the sharp saw chain.
